7 Style Trends for Spring

As temperatures finally start getting — and staying — warm, it’s time to reach back in your closet and bring forward your favorite spring dresses, shorts, and sandals, plus a few lightweight jackets and sweaters in colors other than black and gray. And thank goodness, because by the end of winter, we’re all dying to retire our black puffers and winter boots in favor of light, airy, and easier ’fits.

Ice Blue 

If red was the color of fall and winter, it’s all about icy blue for spring and summer. (In fact, the two colors look great together.) Openwork Knitting

It’s hard to name the trend exactly, but designers sent all kinds of crochet and open knits down the runways for spring. In turn, everyone from New York City influencers to fashionable moms on Instagram began sporting the look when temperatures started to climb. Think crochet dresses, beaded vests, tons of embellishments, and any kind of open weave. Wear one with tights — if you dare — or save the daring look for a swimsuit cover-up.

Sheer Lace

Trench Coats
